Maintenance tips

Reseal

Periodically reseal your tile or natural stone floor with a penetrating sealer product to continue protecting the surface.

Spot clean

Wipe up spilled food and drink as soon as it happens. Many common foods contain acids that will etch or dull a tile or stone surface if allowed to stand.

Hot Caution

Do not place hot items directly on the surface as they can cause cracking.

Cleaning tile & natural stone

Sweep, dust or vacuum your tile floor regularly to remove dirt or grit that can scratch and dull the surface. If you vacuum, use a soft bristle or a felt head attachment. Weekly, damp mop or steam mop with a cleaner recommended specifically for tile and stone floors. Check the manufacturer’s recommendations for a cleaner that is compatible with your grout.
